In order to further improve the efficiency of customs clearance and facilitate trade facilitation, the General Administration of Customs has decided to promote the implementation of the paperless information in the national promotion and implementation of commodity classification data in accordance with the provisions of the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China on "the customs may require the consignee of import and export goods to provide relevant information for the classification of goods." The following items are now announced as follows:
The consignee and consignee of import and export goods may submit the information required for the classification of commodities through customs related systems. In particular, the consignee of the import and export goods will receive the notice on the submission of the goods classified by the "customs affairs contact system" through the "Internet + customs" integration platform or the China Electronic Port website, and feedback the electronic information (with the need to be stamped with the official seal or the electronic signature). The format of the format of scanning or conversion of electronic data is referred to the relevant provisions of General Administration of Customs No. sixty-ninth of 2014.
