COSCO sea control and Shanghai port group completed the offer to acquire Orient Overseas Partners

It took nearly a year, and after many rounds of review, COSCO sea control and Shanghai Port Group's takeover of Orient Overseas International transaction was finally completed according to the timetable. In the evening of June 29th, the COSCO sea control and the Shanghai and Hong Kong Group and the OOCL international jointly issued a bulletin. The COSCO Cmi Holdings Ltd received the "non prohibition of the monopoly review of the operator's anti monopoly review" made by the Anti Monopoly Bureau of the State Administration of supervision and management in June 29, 2018. The acquisition of Orient Overseas (International) Limited shall not be prohibited. The prerequisites for the anti takeover review through the Chinese government sector have been reached in the tender offer. This also means that by the end of June 29, 2018, all the prerequisites for the offer of OOCL (International) limited by the COSCO Cmi Holdings Ltd were all reached.
